i get them at one of the local bike shops here in mesa arizona. very common, about $19.00 for the pair. don't remember the manufacturer's name (maybe Daystar?)but they are for street bikes. DO NOT BUY GAITERS FROM MIKESXS. their's are junk and will fall apart in a month. takes about an hour to install them and trim to proper length. well worth the effort if you like the look.

I love the posts here with the VERY nice looking bikes when people take the time to clean them up and ride them. Nice looking scooter"If A equals success, then the formula is: A = X + Y + Z. X is work. Y is play. Z is keep your mouth shut." - Albert Einstein

thanks for the compliments, but honestly since i bought the bike a couple of months ago i haven't yet washed it. it looked like this when i found it. i'm pretty good at restoring old bikes but i'm even better at finding "barn finds" lost in garages for decades. some of the bikes i've dragged home were real roaches, but every now and then a pristine one pops up and when i can i grab them. this one and my recent 1979 sr500 are true "museum pieces".
