  • Illinois rider in search of a XJ/XS friend

Does any one live in or around Peoria Illinois? I have got a some questions and would like some one that knows XJ's to look my bike over. I'm very mechanically inclined but ignorant when it come to bikes. thanks

Thats fine with me....I could meet you half way on a nice sunny Sat SOON. (I'm about sick of winter) My bike seems to run pretty OK. I need to replace the clutch still. If I rev it much over 5K it slips, but being my first bike and eager to ride it, I'll just take it easy for now. Do you have an XJ or a lot of knowledge about them? Not that it matters, I'm just glad someone else is willing to check out my bike. All my friends have nwer sport bikes so their not to much help other than helping me fill the gas tank. LOL
