New to the big bike

Hi all finally got the 11 going after 2 years of sitting in garage. had to find carbs that wernt destroid (PO broke every float mount on 1 side of every body).This is only my 2nd bike 1st was 78 kx650 nice to learn on and searved me well for 14000+ miles but to small for a tall fat guy. only have put 100 miles on the 1100 but it fits so much better. still lots to do on it not pretty but has potential only 12600 miles on it.well just wanted to say hi and thanks for having me. Will post pict.as soon as i can figure out how to.

Welcome....working......some good folk in here and you will find a lot of good info. My 81 1100 H has only 12,300 on it and was a barn find basket case. Good luck with yours and ride well.

Welcome to the forum Working!! Glad you joined up, and hope your bike comes together easily for you.

I got a very neglected XS1100 a couple years ago and took a few months of torture and labor to put it back into riding condition.

You just missed a great rally in your back yard, XSEast was in Cambridge on Memorial Day weekend. Had a great time, but then, you get to ride those roads al the time!!

Thanks 4 the welcome. Live a little north os St.C love the roads around here and we hardly ever run the Interstate (what fun is that flat and strait)
