Ynder the left side cover i founf that one of the wires are broken. I have a replacement one but its the blue and white one....question is whould blue go to orange or green?

The only wires under the left side cover are ground wires and the corresponding connection from the frame to the bike. Do you have a picture?1980 XS850SG - Sold

if this is for your 79 special ?
the sb ( sky blue wire ) goes to your neutral indicator
Im not seeing the colors you describe in any year
it doesnt show wires being connected to unlike colors.Steven
