    brake lever shaft

    Hello ,just wondered if anyone can answer a question quick,iam thinking my rerar brake lever shaft is bent it stick down and up ,i unhooked everything .does thee shaft come out or is it built in the frame .i want to see and relube it to see if that helps the problem

    it pulls out the back side, take the brake lever off first and you probably have to take the bolts out that hold the reservoir. is there a plastic cap on the outside of the shaft ? if so...there is a grease fitting under that.

      ok thanks,,no grease fitting i see ,the sring is still hooked up ,so i will take that out of the slot andtape it out then

        yes. unhook the spring for the brake switch. unbolt the reservoir from frame and it should slide out the back ...
