    Im havin some trouble in the low end of my carbs.does any1 have any adviice on where to start

      Its missin real bad when im at a low rpm and sometimes doesnt want to idle

        Give us all the details about your bike and how it is set up currently.

        My bet for starters is the pickup coil wires are broken.

          I might have to agree with you Nate.
          Another thing that could cause an idle issue is clogged pilot/idle circuits in the carbs.
          But it's a whole lot easier to check the pick up coil wires first, rather than pulling the carbs for a cleaning.

            Its a 79 xs eleven special stock jets, after market filters(generic k&n) everything else pretty much stock.

              Pour a strong dose of Seafoam carb cleaner in the fuel tank, run the bike, let it sit overnite. May be enough to unclog the pilot circuit in the carbs.
