    I need to know what weight gear oil to use in my middle and final drive 80' xs11 thanks guys for all the help over the past weeks

    Either regular dino 80/90 or synthetic 75/140.

      hey Matt. i drained the dino 80W90 and refilled with Royal Purple 75W140 synthetic.

        I like the 75-140 synthetics myself. Valvoline in particular. Synthetics hold their viscosity and handle heat much better than dino oils, this can really help out with the gears. Gear oil is so thick you really don't need to worry about leaks if you do a swap to the slippery synthetics. I still use Valvoline dino in the crank-case for fear of puddles on the floor.
