  • My XS1100's

I haven't posted pictures of my bikes yet so I just figured I would post them and see what people want to say about them. They are not completed yet. I work on my 79F whenever I do pick up parts for it and the 78E I am making all original.

Oh yea I got original side covers for the 78 thanks to jwhughes3 since I have taken the pictures.

Do your clubman bars have clearance issues with a standard tank? I have been looking into maybe getting a set because my drag bars will dent my tank if im not careful. I dont want to waste the money if i will have the same problem.

It depends on how you have them positioned. I have mine tilted forward a little bit and they clear the tank just fine.

Love the seat. I think one of the things that really dates the appearance of the bikes is the seats and I'd love to do something that looks a little more modern. I think the XJs step needs to be reduced and a modern cover material for example. Your seat looks like it would drop right on my 79 Special.
