Vacuum Gauges

The set of gauges I got came with a couple sets of brass tubes. The instructions say to hook the tubes to the vac lines then screw into the intake. Do I skip the tubes and just put the rubber vac lines on the intake nipples?

yep u dont need those rods,
ull need some sort of restrictor in the line tho
to stop the needles from bouncing,
also be sure to calibrate the guages.

Ok well that kinda pisses me off. The ebay listing for it said the extra tubes are needed for the XS1100. Costs an extra $10 for something I dont need. It has the little valves for restriction. I hooked them all up to aquarium air pump T's and sucked on the line. They were all exact.

After re-reading, it doesnt say XS1100 specifically. Just that you need it for Yamahas.

I bought the gauges, then saw that I needed an adapter. I messaged them saying I needed the adapter for a Yamaha. He billed me $10 and added the other set of tubes in the kit.

no u dont need them,

but ull need a restrictor in the hoses,
they usually come with 4 aquarium valves
so u can restrict the vaccuum to stop the needles
from bouncing, cant see them in the pics
did they come with them?

Yeah they're included. Ive already synched twice but wanted to make sure I wasn't messing something up by not using the tubes.
