Hi, All: Please comment on this. Now that I am ready to go through the engine, I have it out, and I bought an engine stand. I just can't figure out how to mount it. The stand has this star type device that the engine is supposed to mount to, but my imagination as to how, has not been very good. Has anyone every mounted one??? It is a standard, 1200 lb. stand. Thanks!!!

All it takes is a little imagination coupled with a desire to complete and it becomes....I have a part of a frame here welded so I can mount it perfectly in my engine stand. With it I can work on any part of the engine or paint and polish it if I want. I even have an engine puller that will have an engine out of the frame in 30 seconds after hooking it up. Look at it and decide what you would like to do and go for it.2-79 XS1100 SF
