  • Start button not functioning

    Hello All,

XS1100E, my start button (the black button) itself has popped out to the housing. I took it apart and checked things out. Apparently there is a flange on the bottom of the start button that has worn away. It was always sticking since I got the bike last year. Does anyone know of a cheap fix, replacement part or something I can make or modify? I will search eBay as a last resort but, there must be some kind of electrical component I can modify for this I hope.

    Thanks
    Tom A

      pretty good specificity

Hey Marty, it looks like you found just the right site. Good thing he's not looking for a Suzuki button, because then he'd be SoL.

And Tom, welcome to channel 11. It's good to see another Jerseyan here. There aren't very many.
Hill? What hill? I didn't see any hill! Why wasn't there a sign? And where are my keys?
