      Did not have this issue with my Spitfires. I swore Bridgestone off because of that customer service/warranty incident, where they blamed the weather for the tire falling apart and would not replace it.
      Now what?
      I will try to reposition fender but don't see much wiggle room to raise it. Is it safe to continue riding these? May have to swallow my pride and go back to S11's

        Why? There are plenty of good tires out there at that price point. Pick another. Or...buy the Shinko in 100/90-19. I expect the proper size will fit. If it didn't someone would have pointed it out by now.

          I fancy myself a sport touring rider, not many tires fit that bill, I prefer more rubber on the ground and have only used this size tire and has never been a problem before. But as you say I can always drop down in size.
