I just today installed some new diaphragms from jbm industries.I paid $20 each and they took about 4 days to arrive.Super easy to install.just remove old diaphragm from slide and install new diaphragm on old slide.

Do you mean the carb slide diaphragms or the diaphragm in the octy? I just used K&L kits off ebay for my petcocks, brakes and octy.

First, he's got an XJ. I don't believe they have an 'OCTY' so the only fuel diaphragm he must have is the petcock one(s).

I'd try GeorgeFix or Ebay, or even PartsNMore

Thanks Steve, Once again I learn something new.
Maybe the XJ tech forum thread sounds like a better and better idea.
Especially for those of us that are XJ ignorant.

So if the XJ shares Octy's and petcocks, then any special (79-81) kit should work right?

That's why I posted a link to the ones GeorgFix has. They do both petcocks and the octy and the kit is only $26.

                  $26 for all 3? That's a pretty good deal.
Once I get my SG up and running, If my octy needs overhauling then this might be the way I go too. (I know my petcocks are holding right now, but might as well do them too since the rubber bits in them are probably just as old as the octy's parts.)
