    Not trying to bust your balls or anything, heck, I think that seat would take care of that on it's own (I'd call that "the nutcracker seat")...
    you must be super young cause us old dogs need all the padding available and even a little more added just for grins

        Yeah, I was going to say that the seat is a good start. You really don't want to be sitting against the black box.

            The seat is made with soft wood, covered with foam and vinyl from a grill cover. There is some clearance in the front and back but it would be nice to move the blackbox.

                Good luck with those EBC springs. Many won't have problems with them, but those are the brand that held up to my riding least.

                    Yeah, I agree. I have about 2500 miles on my ebc that I put in and I am starting to feel a little bit of slip every now and then.

                        I tied the springs a little extra hopefully that will help. I ll let you guys know if they start slipping.

                                I just found that the XS1100 shares compression springs (among other things) with the XS650. That opens up a lot of sources for quality springs. 650 Central offers springs from Vesrah, Ferodo, and Barnett. Each is tighter than stock.

                                    You mean clutch springs..? I already knew all those manufacturers offerd clutch springs, I didnt think it was a big secret.

                                        Yes.

                                        compression springs = clutch springs

                                        I'm sure it's not known universally that XS11 clutches and XS650 clutches are similar enough to share a lot of parts.
