    Checking the oil level

    I bought an old xs11 and it did not come with the dipstick for the final drive and middle gear can anyone give me the measurements of how large it is and were the marks are so i can make one.

    If you go to member CatatonicBug's website (find any post by him, there'll be a link in his sig), he's got a little PDF that will print out disposable paper ones...

      Looks like the page the printable stick is supposed to be on is gone.

        I just checked and it's still there. Just pulled it up and looked at it. Didn't bother to print it out as I have the actual dipstick which is still available from Mother Yamaha as it appears to still be used on some reasonably current models for less than $10.

              You can also still buy them from the dealer for about $10.
