Hi Scoobes Did you get Manchester N.H. confused with Manchester England ? Being early in the morning i can see it happen. Could not resist. bkr

        Hey there Eightball,

Your side reflectors are the same as the 81Special, and perhaps several others as well. The local salvage shop has box of them here where I live. I broke one of mine in a stupid drop accident. But I then decided why bother with just reflector when I could put a LED set of side marker lights and have them more visible from further away than just relying on reflectance from headlights. They aren't a flush perfect fit, but then I didn't try to come up with or make a different base for the plastic mounting vs. the OEM one. I just screwed them in place using 1 of the OEM mounting screws for one end, then used one of the supplied sheet metal screws into the other end and into the plastic base. Wired them up to the tail/running lights, and they are on as soon as the bike is on!

This 1st picture shows the light, the mounting base with the light OFF, there are 8 LEDs in the array.

This picture shows it with the lights on, they are quite bright!!

The lights were only about $6.00, and you can get them from the same place I mentioned in the LED brake/turn signal mod tech tip.

                Side Markers

Hey Bill It's been a long winter in N.B. Canada so i did a slight change to my XJ marker lights. I cut the back out of the black plastic piece that holds the reflector, took a bulb socket from a spare spedo , has hot & ground , cemented it to the plastic piece and it w orks great . Not as bright as TC's but it looks OK. bkr PS I hooked it to my front sig- marker lights.
