  • Stainless Brake lines, just gotta ask?

Here's one of those questions that may seem kinda basic but I gotta ask just to make sure. Is the outside circumference on the staineless steel lines much smaller than the stock rubber lines that came with the bike. I think yes cause the solid steel line in the rear is about the same circumference as the new stainless lies. Just bought new stainless lines from a guy in England called Wezmoto. Lines came they look great. The rear is to short by 5" and he's going to replace it right away. So I'm OK with that part. I gotta go to work but, Ill check back later.

    Mine were

When I put hem on Great Ranger the clamps on forks were too big...the rubber lines had to be thicker to provide same strength probably.

Thank for getting back. Does anyone know the size of the banjo bolts for the 81 1100 special? I think I want to order some black anodized aluminum bolts from spiegler parts. So they match the banjos on the new brake lines.
