So TC sells the spin on adapters that allows the use of an oil cooler? How does it work?

Try using the search tool on the forum, its all on here. You should find pictures and what auto filter it uses... if replaces the filter bowl with a plate that accepts the spin on auto type...'79 XS11 F

It divert the filtered oil into a oil cooler (of your choice) and then in comes back into the adaptor and enters the engine.
it is a plate that bolts on in place of the filter cup. It stays on you just spin the filter on and off.Nathan

TC does make both types. One for the oil cooler, and one without the fittings. If you want one, contact him soon, as during the winter months, i don't think he gets much done in the cold.1980 XS1100LG Midnight
