I was curious about the rarity of my bike. The reason that I ask is that in looking for information, parts to buy/sell, pictures, etc., I see a lot about other years and models, but not a huge amount related to the 1981 XS1100H.

Is was a rarer full dress only bike. The specials were the hot model so there are way fewer standards and even way fewer of the special '81 touring standard. I would say look for someone to swap for a different year (people are always looking for the '81h).Nathan
