I take it using the centerstand wouldn't work for this procedure?

Hey Snow,
From what I gathered from this technique, he wants the rear wheel to be touching the ground, but then he pulls the strings alongside the rear sidewalls about 2 inches above the ground from their anchor in/on the book behind the tire. So, I would imagine that if you used a taller/thicker book or so to anchor the strings just a little higher, you should still be able to pull and make a straight line from the sidewalls of the rear towards the front tire, just may be a little more difficult to draw the lines along the side of the front tire if the string is too far off the ground!?!?
Another idea?? Those nifty laser levels!! How about using one or two to draw a line even with the rear wheel sidewalls and have it extend towards the front end!?!? Just a thought!
