  • tearing into the XS11, wanting to delete wiring?

I'm getting ready to tear into my 79' XS1100, stripping it down to get the frame re done. When I put everything back together, I want to hide or take out any electrical I can that wont effect the bike. Can anyone give me some things I can take out?

There is not much that can be taken out due to the intersecting and branching circuits.

Not worth the time and effort.

From a device stand point there are a few, flasher cancelling, RLU, headlight relay. From the point of the harness, not worth the effort.

No, but if you want to get rid of the reserve lighting unit, I would be interested in buying it. Also, if you want to get rid of the extra weight of the clip and wing nut thing that holds the kick start crank into the frame, I would be interested in that also.
          Thanks, CZ
