  • Picture of Cylinder Plunger Assemblied

    I'm in the process of going over the rear brake system again and was wanting to see if anyone has a photo of the plunger after being rebuilt so I can make sure I have it done correctly. I have the XJ manual view but it is hard to tell any detail from it.
    82 XJ1100
    Very Little that is factory left.
    Large mix of XJ/XS parts

    Not sure if the XJ is the same as the 81MNS which also had the linked brakes, but I do have a factory built brand new old stock one here I can take a pic of if you think it would help.
    2-79 XS1100 SF
    2-78 XS1100 E Best bike Ever
    80 XS 1100 SG Big bore kit but not fully running yet.
    Couple of more parts bikes of which 2 more will live!

      It would help a lot, my xj had an xs m/c on it.

        Ok mine looks like this when ready to install.

        2-79 XS1100 SF
        2-78 XS1100 E Best bike Ever
        80 XS 1100 SG Big bore kit but not fully running yet.
        Couple of more parts bikes of which 2 more will live!

            that is correct for an XS rear master.

            Your signature is misleading saying your bike is "all factory with no mods".

              I need to change it, I've figured that very little is left factory on that bike.
