Will an XJ front fender fit an XS Special

Will an XJ front fender fit an XS Special? I've started some work on my 79 Special that is still in title limbo. Have the front calipers off (seized) and looks to me like the front fenders should swap. I have an extra XJ front fender thats pretty nice and is much stiffer than the stock 79 fender

The title is still in limbo, the Secretary of State Police are making the selling dealer straiten it out but they are not moving much. SOS has been in touch with me and is telling me to hang in there. The title I have was already signed by me so I transferred it today as its coming up on 30 days. I will now be the owner of the title. At this point even if they were ready to swap titles with the mystery guy the title still needed to be in my name anyway. I've started selling off the excess parts that came with it to recoup some $$$ and I'm feeling better. May part with an xtra Kerker collector and now I have a lic plate

Yep..... same mounting points....

Thanks Steve, figured it would but my spare fender is in a storage unit 12-15 miles from here.

The fender will fit. The brake hose brackets will not. They will have to come from an XJ.

My last post may seem a bit vague.Let me expound. I got a parts bike for my XJ and . Had a nicer fender than my SF and wanted to put the reinforced XJ on the SF. The hose brackets from the specials will not fit with the XJ fender. Other options may work but the XJ hose brackets are plug and play if putting on a special . The special hose brackets will not work with an XJ fender.
