Clubman Bars

Ok, my Google-Fu is failing and I can't seem to find a definitive post on whether or not clubman bars will fit my 79 standard. Can anyone help me out? I'd like to pick up these if they'll work.

I've found lots of pictures with them on the bike, but nothing about work required to make them fit, if any.

It's kind of nice making a post about something cosmetic for a change, and not a wrenching disaster.

Any bars that are 7/8" will fit. Whether they fit YOU I cannot answer.

Yes they will fit..have to do some wire rerouting but it works out ok...

If one set doesnt work for you another may. They come in many varying measurements. And you can always cut some off the grip length if its not right.

Standard tank?

How well do they do with a standard tank? I have a set of drag bars and they will touch the tank. I love the look of those bars are there any clearance issues? I just dont want to scratch/dent my tank again.
