  • fun with wires

been beating on this 80 Special cleaning stuff up getting everything sorted out, new tires arrive Monday, (Shinko 712's) so it will start going back together waiting on the fuse box up grade so was busy making sure everything else was ready for that, tail light one bulb lit for tail light the other would come on when brake applied but the tail light would go out wtf! cleaned sockets, both tails now lit but still only one one side brake (the other side), cleaned ground connections both tail light work both brakes work, think it needs a few more wires

Question? just drained the fuel tank and had a dribble out the vacuum side as I turned the lever from OFF to RESERVE, is this normal or do petcocks need re-built?

so it does flow fuel going past prime (not a vacuum port) Prime outlet

The octy is controlled by vacuum. One outlet on the petcock is prime the other is on/reserve. The dribble could mean a petcock rebuild. Should not dribble in off position
