Just got a XS 1100LG (my first Yam) saw it and just had to have it. Its in a bit of a sorry state and I was going to ask loads of questions in here, but! they all seem to have been covered elsewhere in this forum Nice to see a well attended forum and I hope to spend many hours browsing for answers. Yer first Yamaha; well, you sure got lucky. If you've got a good working area, and are fairly adept at mechanickin' and electrical >you'll very much appreciate this motorcycle. Pound for pound>dollar for dollar> no doubt the best scooter ever made by Yamaha.
......and, yes, it is a "well attended forum"; there's enough information in here, to overhaul a Ferrari .

hi silk,glad to see someone else pop up in the uk,there are a few of us on this forum,i put a thread on a while ago to see if there was anyone else in the uk and well if you look the thread up you will see,there is also www.xs1100.co.uk for you to check out,send some info of your bike that you have just got?
