    Midnight Special Carbs

    Hey guys, I remember a person that would take a set of carbs and clean,sync., and test on a bike so all I would have to do is put them back on. I took these things down 5 times replaced everyting that needed replacing last year and never got them right. I was promoted and had to relocate so I put the bike up. I am to the point where i just want to get them done so I can ride this thing. 1981 midnight. Thanks,

    The sync part is unique to each bike, so sure, they may clean and test them, but when you get them back, you'll have to sync them to YOUR bike.
    In other words, you'll have to dial those carbs in on your bike.

      I could do that. The thing I had trouble with is getting clean enough to make the bike run close to right. This person put them on a bike and tested. After that it would be fine tuning on my part. I just got frustated with it last year. Thanks for the reply.
