Hey guys, i finally got my gas lines run without kinking them but now they wont fill with gas. I bought clear line so i just noticed this. When you turn on your petcocks with lines not attached should the fuel shoot out in a single straight line. Mine comes out pretty good but it runs like a real messy line. I really dont know how to explain it but how much pressure should come out since they are gravity fed. I have long fuel lines and have them looped so maybe there is not enough gravity to fill them. The right one fills but the left one doesnt fill all the way and gas air pockets. Has anyone had this problem? What is the best way to run these lines. If i hadnt gotten clear line i would have never known. Should i run a connector so both of the petcock nipples supply fuel? I have one of them capped off. Thanks again. I did search but didnt find exactly what i was looking for.

No, i took the octi off. I finally got it but where should i hook the vacuum advance. I hooked it to one of the intake nipples and it was making a clanking noise. I am going to try to hook it to the 2nd carb nipple when it cools down. does the 2nd carb nipple get less vacuum than the first intake nipple?Jeff

The vacuum advance connection on the carb is 'metered' (as well as semi-ported so you don't get advance at idle), that should get rid of the 'rattling'....Fast, Cheap, Reliable... Pick any two
