As I was taking apart for the fork rebuild I noticed that one of my petcocks was leaking when I took the fuel lines off and will need to be rebuilt, carbs are not leaking. Are the petcock rebuild kits still available from Yamaha or is the another source if so which are the better ones to go with. Readily available at your loal yammarobber but more expensive. Seems to me the rubber valve is $23 and the oring is $13. Not sure if that is for the pair or just one of each. Something to check on though as we wait for 2 weeks on Georgefix up here for delivery.2-79 XS1100 SF

Dunno but the fiche I am looking at does list everything except the Octy diaphragm. If he only needs petcock parts they have them. The Octy diaphragm is not shown but he says the petcocks are leaking...not the octy nor the needles. Just trying to help him out on the petcocks.2-79 XS1100 SF

yeah just the petcock is leaking and only one of them but I am going to rebuild them both since I already have the tank drained.'79 XS11SFComment
