So I ordered speigler ss brake lines through a local yamaha dealer. When they came, I found that the rear line they gave me is one piece about 15 inches long. I have an 80sg. My existing setuP consists of a short line (4" or so) from the caliPer to a solid steel fixed line and then another 6" or so line from the other end of the solid steel line to the rear mc. Did they sell me the wrong line? Or do I just replace the whole thing with the one piece ss line?

As steve said, replace the whole thing. The steel line often rust internally anyways so its best to get rid of it.Nathan
