I don't have experience with pods. BUT, did you start with this?

    Easy Bench Sync Method

I tried to sync my carburetors without doing this first and I ended up with a very high idle that I could not cure. I removed the carburetors and followed the instructions in the link. Now I can adjust the idle to whatever I want.

I think you're going to have to get that done before you can sort out the jetting. Jet to the recommendations you get here and get it running properly. Once that's done, you'll have to start reading your plugs to dial in the proper jet size.

The alternative is to put everything back to stock (airbox) and go with stock jetting. Either way, you'll get there, but I believe you're going to have to do it yourself. Your shop doesn't want to go through the trouble and then bill you for it. Or...maybe they don't have the know-how.

If the sync is off, then with the master idle all the way down, if it's still too high, then I'd guess that the other butterflies (not #3) are open too much, thus allowing the idle to be high. You would see this if you have sync gauge(s) hooked up. #1,2 & 4 would read higher than #3.
That's why we all do a 'bench' sync prior to install. This ensures that all 4 are close to the same opening and that should be close. Then when you get it running, if it's too high, dial the master down and that should shut down all 4. Put the sync gauge(s) on and like before dial 1 to 2 then 4 to 3 then 1/2 to 3/4, recheck them all again to make sure they're all good.
