    Cylinder head/cleaning pipes

Thanks all for the suggestion regarding my cylinder head. I figure I got about 3 more month to work on it be for the riding seasons starts.

New question,...what about exhaust system. I have it apart, so is there any sence is cleaning it? If so what would be the best method.

There's no real need to clean them as long as there aren't excessive deposits. I'd just make sure mating surfaces are clean and while you have them off, you'll want to inspect them for cracks and rust-through. Just a thought on what you'd might like to do.

Make sure to check/replace the exhaust gaskets that sit in the recess in the head where the pipes attach. They may be difficult to see in there, ad can be a b***h to remove if they have been in there for many years.
