Don't get so excited... I don't care one way or another how you wire your bike; I've simply been trying to give the best advice I can. But you've already seen pretty much all the 'chopper wiring' info there is. With what's been posted to both this thread and your other one, you've got what's out there.

Or are you expecting a hand-holding through the whole process ('put this wire there, that wire over there')? That's not going to happen, as there's no way for somebody to know what if any variations in what you might have will affect the wiring. Between the diagrams that have been posted and the factory diagrams, there's enough info there for you to figure it out. I don't think anybody is going to invest the hours needed to figure out, draw, then post a diagram that addresses your particular application, which is what it seems you're fishing for.

Not trying to sound like a smart-a**, but if you're not comfortable tackling this with the info given, you probably shouldn't try this. I'm a retired electrician, and I don't like building harnesses as it's time-consuming, finicky work. I'd much rather rework a stock harness, and the end result works just as good.

        Here's a real clear answer.

If your gonna change everything so it isn't working as it was designed to your pretty much on your own. If you don't know what the hell your doing, don't do it.

There are pages of bikes on craigslist that people have "made thier own" but now they want to make them someone elses problem because they are all intercoursed up now.

If your gonna cut, hack and remove things it's not the same as a problem with a stock bike. These guys here are pretty damn good at figuring normal $hit out but if your gonna CREATE problems with modifications don't expect a simple freakin' answer.

        End of rant.......................

I need help wiring my bike for the bare minimum. I stated what I have to work with, and wanted simple advice while wondering if I wired the coils, starter, alternator and questioning whatever else is a must while running only what I have. I don't need or want all that other **** on my bike! I don't give a damn what the laws are in my state! And I couldn't give two ****s if my insurance company will get pissed at me for not having a horn on my bike. People asks questions around here and NEVER get a straight answer. I have never ever been part of a forum where people try to dissuade you from every little thing you try to do!
Safety and legality are a main issue for people here. You want to put yourself in danger and f yourself up, do it yourself and GTFO. Just because you get all pissy after someone proves you wrong does not mean people won't help you. Get over yourself or, again, GTFO.

I find it interesting that you name chop as though you were even around when he was and that you must have had some heart to heart discussing his reasons for leaving.

And just for good measure, if you don't like the forum or the people you are always welcome to GTFO. Nothing against you, don't know you, just don't like your whiny attitude, grow up, this is the real world and it is not like back at home where mommy and daddy do everything for you.
