i need valve shims have some to trade

    Thanks Mike (TADracer) for that link. I just checked and they've got exhaust valves for $24 !
    I had an issue with my SG having a slightly bent valve and the cheapest I could find one was about $80 !

    Now I'll get my shims and a new vavle from these guys.

    ps. the shims are listed at $5.95 now.. (Still not a bad deal for those that don't have a friendly shop around that will trade out) (or those who live out in the boonies)

      I got mine from CRC2 as well and had to order 7. He had them all and I got them in a few days $5.50 each. Yamaha wants something like $20-$22 each if you have to go there.
      Can't beat the smell of gas & oil

        The local price here for new shims is a tad under 8 bucks. The local Yamaha dealer also had a mech in the back who would do swaps as long as he did not have way to many of a particular size.
