I want to purchase 1 anyway and I need to do the carbs so it seems like a no brainer. I could also sue this on other parts as I dabble with tractors too.
    Thanks
Tank size can be deceiving at best. Basket size is what you want to look at. The 2.5 liter unit I bought claims to be the same "net" size as most 3 liter units. Also note that the baskets are somewhat tapered from top to bottom so posted size is often the baskets mouth size and everything must be in the basket or suspended. Items can not be in contact with the inside walls of the tank.

Hey Mack, I used "crystal Clear". The product description was good for all my needs and the price was acceptable. It seems to have done a good job without attacking the metal itself. See below

I setup my floats earlier today, attached the bowls, flipped the carbs over and filled the bowls. Fuel level across all 4 are VERY close to the same and all are VERY close to where the washer would be under the bowl screws. Fuel is not flowing past the needle jets. Is the ultra sonic cleaning responsible for this?, maybe the NOS brass floats?, or NOS jets?, I don't know. I'm just glad to see the problem taken care of.

Just got back from a test run. There's way too much traffic to really run her but she is running as she should. Good idle, good throttle response and good sounding. I will see if she floods herself overnight. I will have to do a front brake job tomorrow but that's not a biggie.
