    Last orders for wheel bearings!

    Greetings XSives.

I thought I would let everyone know that I only have 14 rear LHS wheel bearings left from the stock of 49 which I recently acquired.

If anyone has been considering investing in one of these hard/impossible to find bearings, I would suggest that you PM me to place your order. They work out at $32 each (less than the cost of readily available steering head bearings, for example) with $4.20 for airmail small packet shipping worldwide. That's US dollars, by the way.

I'm not hussling anyone but I suspect that the well may have run dry for these bearings, so if you have any doubts about the condition of your current bearing, I would strongly advise buying one.

Yes, it'll fit. Do you refer to those bikes as a Maxim?

Yes, the model is XJ1100J but the bike has the Maxim lettering on it that Yamaha started using in 1982 on many of their bikes. Do you take Paypal?

                    Adding to the parts pile....

I've got so many other spare parts... seems silly not to have a hard-to-find wheel bearing.

                    I'll take one please.

                        Eight left

                        Hi Folks

The reassuring boxful of LHS rear wheel bearings has now dwindled to eight

I'm not hussling anyone but if you have been thinking of buying one, I'd do it now. Last time I ran out, someone contacted me in desperation when their wheel bearing broke. I ended up letting them have my own spare! So, I plan on keeping two for myself this time.

BTW, all 42 purchasers have now received their bearings and many have already been fitted into wheels and are in use.
