    looked but couldn't find

Some guys take an old filter bolt and weld a larger bolt head onto it. The easiest method is to go easy when tightening the bolt-and make sure the o-ring stays in it's groove. Most of the o-rings you get with new filters are anything but round. A little oil in the groove can help keep 'em in place. Otherwise, you can lose 4 qts. of fresh oil pretty quickly.

My filter bolt is 24mm. I put it on with a torque wrench. I never have trouble getting it off.

If you don't have a torque wrench, go buy one! You can find 0-150lb wrenches with +/-4% accuracy just about anywhere for $10-20. There's no excuse not to have one!

I am allergic to torque. That is a valid excuse.
