I had my carbs apart and forgot I left the valve seats soaking in some berrymans's carb & choke cleaner. When I remembered I took them out and the o-rings had grossly expanded and then later shrunk back to near original diameter but not the same thickness, anyway will regular o-rings from a auto/hardware store do if I find ones that fit or do they have to be a special oil/gas resistant type. I will order new seats first thing in the am but wanted to get it running meanwhile.

I've bought the nitrile (fuel rated) O-ring kit from Harbor Freight for $3.99 and it has plenty of the correct size and others you may need, like for the mixture screws and for fuel T repair.2H7 (79) owned since '89
