    A big thank you!

    I pulled my carbs off in December and didn't get around to putting the kits in until last weekend. I put them back on the bike yesterday and fired it up just now. It runs like a champ! I just wanted to thank all of you for your help and wisdom. If I can do it anyone can.

    how about some pix of ur 81SH. this forum is great. i was in ur same situation and found assistance from these Guru's on where to get parts and the carb cleaning process. i also have an 81SH.

      After the carb job I'm getting 38 mpg. Before I was getting 33 at best. Didn't know it would make that much of a difference.
