Well I started her up today, fired right up then quite. Pushing the starter button did nothing. Dead as a stump. Brand new battery fully charged. Pulled the connectors and checked with my meter and it was all good. Left it sitting for awhile and tried again and same thing, started then died. So I go over the bike and checked all the grounds and connections, all good.Then I figure the handle bars aren't making a good ground. Nope there great but the left control looked pretty gummy inside so I unplug it and remove it tried the bike again and bingo started and ran great. It's supposed to be warmer tomorrow so I'll tuned it then. Not sure how the left handle bar control could shut the bike off like that, but it'll get cleaned and installed maybe on monday.
