  • front mc question

on page 226 of catabugs repair manual [front mc diagram] it looks like it shows a washer in between the 'plunger' and the 'cup seal' that the spring sets in. mine does not have that washer.
has anyone else come across this? and secondly does it really matter?

I noticed the same thing in the repair manual mine came with when I rebuilt the front mc yesterday. My rebuild kit didn't have the washer, and the old pieces I pulled out of there didn't have it either.

Not sure it's ok, but I'm hoping so.

There is a "C" shaped washer that goes there. It's last thing you put in before you install the circlip to keep everything in place. How necessary is it ? It probably keeps the plunger from slipping past the clip.
