It would appear the Oceania versions only covered the Standard until 81 when they got the RH model. IIRC, the RH is alot like a MNS. Here in the US, the 80 MNS had the same brakes as any other Special, in 81 the MNS got the linked brakes that were on the XJ model, while the SH got the same brake system as all previous special models.
My guess would be the RH may have gotten the linked brakes.Life is what happens while your planning everything else!

hi speed devil,
your bike is the same standard that i have here,
its a 1980 standard, itll have a different engine to
the rh's, the '80 is fitted with a 2h7 tci and has the mechanical
advance and the large intake valve head and later cams/pistons,
the rh is fitted with a 4ro tci and has no mechanical advance
all the engine parts are from the earlier model engines 2h7,
the parts/engines are interchangeable just wanted to let u know
that there are some differences.
the rotors werent slotted in the 80g but are on the 81 rh.pete

That pic looks like an older model though, mainly because the brake rotors aren't slotted and the tail piece behind the seat that was only on the 78 standard I believe.Cy
