    tool bag plastic oil guage stick

    if anyone needs the middle/final drive oil level dipstick that always seems to be missing in the tool bag, i found one at Boats.net for cheap. i had one but it ran away.

      And any Yamaha dealer can order it for you. It not a discontinued item and is pretty cheap to get the correct part. Remember with all those mail order places to add in shipping and handling to the price they charge vs what your local dealer will charge you.

        yeah, when i check with the local Yamaha dealership, the price is usually double. my air filter was $49, not in stock and i bought it for $20 in stock, so, yes, i do check with them, but they never have anything in stock for r old bikes. the total price for anything i buy on the inet is always compared with shipping included. cy, i want to support my local shop. all the employees r great, but $ matter too right now for me. they'll b getting my $ when i put my new tires on, and they just raised the price for that n the last 6 mos. $45 a tire. x 2 i could buy a tire for that.
