  • Salvage yards

    Hey all,

When working on cars I've always had great luck getting parts at salvage yards. Are there many salvage yards for bikes around? I'm in Chicago and would love to pick around some old bikes for parts, if anyone knows of a salvage yard around here I'd really appreciate it

    Thanks,

      Hi Joshua,
Google can be your friend. I got lots of hits so have fun checking them out when the weather warms up.

Cycle recycle in indianapolis indiana is a great place to go. The owner is full of knowedge but it is a store full of any old bike parts you can think of. Its in a bad neighborhood but well worth the trip.
