is the carb adjustment a true fuel or is it actually an air adjustment, lean out rich in??

Which part of the 'carb adjustment'? The idle mixture screws are changing the air/fuel mixture (in lean, out richer), but the sync is a 'balance' (making sure each carb is flowing the same amount of air).Fast, Cheap, Reliable... Pick any two

In answer to your question Oschool, if mixture screws are on intake/filter side of carbs, they are air screw adjustment. If the idle mix screws are on head/manifold side of carbs, they are fuel adjustment screws.81H Venturer1100 "The Bentley" (on steroids) 97 Yamaha YZ250(age reducer) 92 Honda ST1100 "Twisty"(touring rocket) Age is relative to the number of seconds counted 'airing' out an 85ft. table-top.
