I'm doing ok, getting treatment, combination of the guy who hit me's insurance, my underinsured coverage and my medical insurance appears to have covered everything. My insurance co covered the damage to the bike very well actually. They had a tow truck out while I was still in the ER to transport the bike to my house (part of my roadside assistance), BTW, while I was in the ambulance on the way to the ER I had them call my wife, so she was notified first.
They had an adjuster here on the following friday (accident was on monday) to look at the bike. I had already looked up prices for parts to fix the damage and had an idea of what it would cost, and have 100 deductible on my full coverage (yep I have full coverage on my 30 year old bike, based on agreed value of $1700), and he looked at the bike actually found a couple things damaged I had missed, got online in his little progressive insurance truck (one of our carriers here) and looked up prices (ebay, bike bandit etc) and actually came up with a little more than I did and handed me a check, and even figured out a way so I didn't have to pay the deductible either. And then I had forgotten about my helmet and he reminded me, I showed it to him, he looked it up and gave me a check for a replacement helmet on the spot.
Got everything fixed and working, had to replace my highway pegs with case protectors (2 point, that was all I could find) plus highway pegs (thanks schming) on them cause I couldn't find replacement highway pegs like I did and mine snapped off when the guy hit me and knocked me down.
