  • Need suggestions for new head light mount.

    I just bought a new custom heahlight but it doesn't use the stock brackets. It's mounted with just a bottom bolt. I can't figure out how to mount it. HELP!!

    You did a boo-boo.... that type light is designed to fit a Harley lower tree (most which already have a mounting hole there) and there isn't enough meat in the Yamaha tree to safely drill a hole for it. You could try 'hanging' it off a bracket attached to the top tree (ala Harley Sportster), but your best bet will be to get a 'side mount' custom light that uses 'ears' like the stock light....
