    Thanks Phil

Thanks man, and thanks for all your help on the carbs, not a wasted effort, I know I must have the cleanest XS1100 carbs around And with your help, I learned alot about them I have been letting her run for about 30 sec after I turn the petcocks off, and the gas in the air box thing is gone too

Had a buddy with a Northstar powered STS Caddy. Kept throwing codes and would run like caca. He threw a bunch of parts and $'s at it with no cure. I went over to look at ( I DO NOT like Northstars) and messed with the battery cables cause its first problem was you had to jump it, and found the GROUND cables was hangin by a thread where it grounded to the block. Fixed the ground and ALL his problems went away. Whoda figured a bum ground would stifle 300+ horses.

The "random" shutdown and poor wet weather performance on my G turned out to be, w a i t f o r i t.............bad pickup coils. Seems these things run on 'lectricty as much as they do gas.

Replacing that stupid fusebox was the best thing I ever did to the bike, and mine was in good shape! It cleared up so many issues I had with turn signals, lights, and idle.
