    I thought we decided the Special towers were pressed up against the bottom of the tank and couldn't fall out?

    I lost one, but it was on a XS650 twin. Fred has one of those, too.

      Mine sure is, but I think some people have dealt with the petcock holes being a bit too big to clamp them in securely.

          Interesting, Never heard about that before, but never seen one where they fell out either. And I woudl have thought if it was something bad that could happen to an XS it would have been an issue with Banshee when I got that one. Never really looked at it though as far as tank sealing the tower in place.

            The standards use the same petcocks as the 650's and 400's, both standards and specials. I had the tower come off the petcock on my XS400, which is a 1980, so I'm not sure the later model petcocks have the tower riveted on.
