  • Spica restore part II

My back was feeling better the last three days so I've been able to get back at it, albiet a bit cautiously. I believe this is where I last left you.

So I finally got the clutch in without snapping the star plate. Got the cover on, rear motor mount torqued. swing arm, rear tire, fender, splash guard and brake system on. Still not happy with the bend at the rear caliper. Should be a 35 but I'm waiting for the correct one to come. Ordered twice now and both boxes were labled 35 degree but were actually 45's. Trying a different supplier this time.

If you look closely you'll notice the rear M/C is off a 79 SF

it's starting to look like a motorcycle again. I can tell I'm making progress, as I can finally see my saw again.

Your definitely making progress. You have most of the hard stuff done now from the looks of it. At least the stuff that takes alot of adjustment and specific torque values and such. Looking really nice!!
Life is what happens while your planning everything else!

When your work speaks for itself, don't interrupt.

It is a labor of love, and that will be a great bike when done I sall one MNS, actualy bid on it on Ebay, last year, that came out of a museum and sold for $4,000.00. I lost at the very last sec. It is all about what they are worth to us, not what they sell for today, Great job, keep the pic's comming
